One of the World Richest Grand Prix's, Calgary, Canada

9 September 2014

This weekend I am competing at Spruce Meadows, Calgary, Canada.

I travelled out yesterday. Diaghilev, Royale Du Rouet and Ardcolumn Duke traveled out earlier in the week and arrived healthy safe and well.

The features of the show are the Nations Cup on Saturday and one of the worlds richest Grand Prix on Sunday.

On arriaval today, there is a blanket of snow. The changing weather is a well known fact in Calgary, so lets hope it changes soon!

We start jumping Wednesday.

Back at home, Tinka's Serenade is undergoing embryo transfer to Je T'aime Flamenco, so lets hope the recipient mares scan in foal in the near future.

Luidam's youngsters have been changing hands for amazing sums of money in the last few weeks, so his breeeding future is looking brilliant and he already has quite a number of bookings for the 2015 season.

You can find start lists and results from Calgary here:

Wish me luck!
